Street Smurfs

While I am thinking about what a wonderful time Belgium was there are a few things that stand out.
While walking the streets I kept seeing all of these characters and couldn't understand it.

I found out that Brussels has a lot of comics around.
On a random side street, in a bookstore, and on buildings.

If you are ever in this city, you need to walk around and see how many you can find.

Most of these were in a random bookstore that had a comic museum on the second story.

The museum cost money to see, but all of the statues you could see.

Most of the time this place is crawling with locals reading and enjoying the area.

I can see why. it was off of the main street, not many people around, and there was a restaurant.

As you can see looking at the pictures there are a lot of smurfs.
I couldn't believe how many there were.
When it started to rain I put the camera away and missed taking a few pictures.

It became a game to see how many we could find.

I am not a big comic person so I am not going to try and act like I know who all of these people are.

However, I still like to see all of the different ones that there are.

The car was very neat to see!

Who knew that in a back alley there were all of these wonderful things to see?!?

So keep that in mind when you go to Belgium and try to find all of the different characters!

There are way more than what I have here, but like I said when it started to rain I put the camera away.

Keep hunting for all of the different quirks that each country, city, town, or village that you visit.

When you stick to a guide book you could miss more than what you are actually there to see.

I know that this was a short post, but while I was on the topic of this wonderful slice of a surprise I just wanted to write about it.

Keep on hunting!
